Commissioner Arndt commenced his career as the Associate to the Hon. Justice Cowdroy of the Federal Court of Australia before practising at Clayton Utz.  Prior to his appointment, Commissioner Arndt spent more than 12 years at Australian Business Lawyers & Advisors, specialising in employment and industrial law, with a particular focus on Award matters, contract of carriage disputes and related Chapter 6 claims.

Commissioner Arndt is a co-author of the leading textbook, Owner-Driver Law in Australia, published by Thomson Reuters.
