The Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Geoff Bellew SC as an Acting Justice of the Industrial Court and Acting Deputy President of the Commission.
Mr Bellew SC will be formally sworn in during a private ceremony on Monday, 13 October 2025.
“Mr Bellew SC brings extensive judicial experience, having served for over a decade as a Judge in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, primarily within the Common Law Division hearing criminal matters. His appointment will strengthen the Commission’s capacity to manage the increasing volume of work health and safety matters.”
