Vale The Hon. Barrie Clive Hungerford QC (1937-2022)

The Honourable Barrie Hungerford QC, former deputy president and judicial member of the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW, passed away on 26 June 2022.

Mr Hungerford began practising at the New South Wales Bar in February 1976.

He took silk in November 1988. He was appointed as a judge of the Industrial Commission of New South Wales in 1989 and then served with that Court and then with the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW until his retirement in 2002.

The Chief Commissioner, members and staff of the Industrial Relations Commission extend their condolences to Mrs Judy Hungerford and the family and friends of His Honour.
