Before being appointed to the Commission , the Commissioner had more than 20 years’ experience as a solicitor in both private practice and for industrial organisations specialising in employment law, industrial relations law, public sector employment law and work health and safety matters. Immediately prior to her appointment the Commissioner was the Legal Counsel for the NSW Public Service Association and Professional Officers Association Amalgamated Union of NSW (PSA) and the Association and the Community and Public Sector Union NSW (CPSU) and had been a member of the Board of the Legal Aid Commission NSW where she served for many years.
