Appealing a Decision

If you are unsuccessful in your claim, you can appeal your claim to the Full Bench of the Commission or the Full Bench of the Industrial Court

The Full Bench of the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales (NSW) (Commission) can hear an appeal from a decision made by a single member of the Commission1 or the Industrial Registrar.2

Appeals regarding a question of law in a public sector promotional and disciplinary matter; a decision about an industrial matter made by the Local Court of NSW3 or a criminal conviction (and the related sentence) made under the Work Heath Safety Act 2011 (NSW) are heard by the Full Bench of the Industrial Court.4
