Description: The Industrial Relations and Other Legislation Amendment (Workplace Protections) Act 2025 enacted amendments to sections 209, 210 and 213 of the IR Act which took effect on 3 July 2025.
This seminar will cover amendments arising from the amending Act including:
New protections in s 210, Freedom from Victimisation, including for engaging in industrial organising activities, and having a characteristic protected from discrimination under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, and the new Reverse Onus in s 213(5) of the IR Act
